Helping Others Through Social Concerns Ministries

Our parishioners have a long history of helping those in need in our local community and beyond. Our faith comes alive through the Social Concerns Ministry’s more than 10 community outreach programs supporting the overall mission of providing care, compassion and hope to the less fortunate.

Our community outreach efforts are organized in three focus areas:

Caring for the Poor and Less Fortunate.

These are ongoing parish activities to assist those in need throughout the year. Examples include the Ministry of Assistance, the Latina Project, Friendship Meal, our annual Day of Caring event (launching this fall), Thanksgiving Turkey Run and Give-a-Gift program during the holidays.

Community Rapid Response.

Emergency relief services provided for those in our community who face critical needs as a result of natural disaster, fire or other human tragedy.

Social Concerns Outreach.

Immigration reform in partnership with La Sagrada Familia as well as support for our sister parish, Inmaculada Concepcion in El Salvador, helps others whose voice isn’t being heard. Whether it’s generating awareness, helping with our annual El Salvador golf outing or participating in a mission trip, we become disciples of faith through educational activities.

We’re always looking for people to share their time, talent and treasure in any of these programs. To learn more, email Eric Stasiowski at ericstasiowski@yahoo.com.
